Copco Agate

This is an extra fine designer cabochon of Copco agate. Oregon material. This stone features an outstanding display of black waves and tiny dendrites in clear agate. While Copco often looks like Montana agate, there are two distinct characteristics that set the two apart. In addition to the black spots, Copco sometimes has a milk white background. While Montana agate can have the same black spots, it often has dark red and brown colors. Copco only has black, clear and white colors. This stone is noteworthy in its size. Fine stone, collector quality. The black pattern goes through to the back side.      Symetrical shield shape. Glass polish front and back. SIZE: 53.6 x 24 < 30.4 X 4.8 mm.
